Whatever happened to the Foreword Best Book Nomination?
Ask no more. After being nominated as a finalist (out of 100s of books submitted), The Prairie Bridesmaid received an Honourable Mention. Foreword Magazine Book of The Year.

Who's A Big Weiner...err, Winner?!!
At this year's Manitoba Book Awards, Daria and The Prairie Bridesmaid took home the Eileen McTavish Sykes Award for best first book by a Manitoba Writer. Much back slapping and high-fiving goes out to Daria.

The Prairie Bridesmaid Soft Cover Release!
Daria and Key Porter are pleased to announce that the soft cover version of The Prairie Bridesmaid will be available starting March 1, 2009. The infamous soundtrack that accompanied the hardcover will also be available for download to those who buy the softcover version. So stop your whining!
